Ann Curry

Ann Curry was born in the US and works as a photographer and journalist. For more than forty-five years, she has concentrated on documenting the suffering of people, particularly during war and natural catastrophes. Curry reported on conflicts that raged in Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo, and Central African Republic. Curry traveled a lot along with her companion but she did not attend any school more than two full years. She went to schools in San Diego Alameda Oregon Virginia. She finally graduated in Ashland High School. She paved her way for an enviable career after she began her career in broadcasting as a student intern at KTVL Channel 10 in Medford Oregon, eventually becoming the first woman news reporter at the station at the aged of just 22. She subsequently moved to the post of anchor and reporter for KGW an NBC affiliate in Portland, Oregan. After that, she moved into Los Angeles four years later as a journalist for KCBS TV. During her KCBS-TV relationship of six years, she was awarded two Emmy Awards.
